Dr. Aldik graduated from the Damascus School of Medicine with top honors in '03. He then did his specialty training in Respiratory and Internal Medicine in the Southwest region of England until '17, where he gained a deep understanding of Pulmonology and general medicine.

After his training, Dr. Aldik completed a fellowship at the Plymouth Teaching Hospitals, where he honed his expertise in lung cancer, interventional lung procedures, and teaching medical students. These days, he's a consultant at the Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust in Guildford, leading the lung cancer and interventional procedures teams. He founded the rapid access lung cancer clinic to provide high-quality care to patients in a timely manner.

Dr. Aldik treats all sorts of respiratory illnesses, such as lung cancer, asthma, COPD, lung scarring, sleep disorders, bronchiectasis, and lung infections. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he's been on the frontlines, conducting research and providing treatment to patients with long-term complications of the disease.

Dr. Aldik has published articles in top-notch journals like BMJ and has given presentations at national and international conferences, including the British Thoracic Society, British Thoracic Oncology Group, and World Congress for Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology.

In his downtime, Dr. Aldik likes hanging out with his family, reading books, playing football, and doing computer programming.
